Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully. By signing the consent form and/or using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.
1. Health & Vaccinations.
All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations required by law.All dogs must have received a Kennel Cough vaccination at least 14 days prior to attendance.Owners confirm that their dog is in good health and free from contagious conditions, parasites, fleas, or ticks. Dogs with pre-existing medical issues that may worsen during their stay or affect others will not be accepted.Owners must list all known medical or behavioural concerns on the consent form and pet profile.
2. Veterinary Care & Emergencies.
If a dog becomes ill or injured, Pooch’s Yard may contact the owner’s registered veterinarian or use Eastgate Veterinary Surgery (Thetford), our nominated vet.Veterinary treatment, medication, or emergency care may be authorised at our discretion.Owners are responsible for all associated costs, unless injury/illness is due to negligence by Pooch’s Yard.Pooch’s Yard is not liable for sickness, injury, or accidental death resulting from pre-existing conditions, natural disasters, or incidents beyond our reasonable control.
3. Weather Policy.
In cases of extreme weather, Pooch’s Yard has the right to close before or during the day.Cold weather: Below -3°C and not forecast to rise above -3°C by midday, or in cases of extreme heavy snowfall.Heat: Above 34°C.Owners must be prepared to collect their dog at short notice or arrange alternative collection.We will provide as much notice as possible.Pooch’s Yard will implement appropriate safeguards during periods of extreme weather. If owners are advised that day care should not be attended due to weather conditions, Pooch’s Yard accepts no liability for any weather-related illness resulting from attendance contrary to that advice.
4. Feeding.
We advise that dogs are fed at home at least 1 hour before drop-off or after collection.Feeding at daycare is discouraged for larger breeds and short faced breeds due to risks of vomiting or choking and risk of bloat.If an owner insists on feeding during care or it is normal practice during the time your dog is at Pooch's Yard, they accept full responsibility.Pooch's Yard can administer medication with prior notice, Original packaging of medication and a in-date veterinary instructions sticker/label MUST be visible, We will not administer any dosage other than the stated.
5. Behaviour & Socialisation.
Owners confirm that their dog is friendly and social with male and female dogs, intact and neutered.Dogs in season must not attend daycare. Owners must notify us immediately if this occurs and shouldn't return to a day care setting for 28 days.Pooch’s Yard accepts no responsibility for pregnancy if an owner fails to disclose a season.Dogs showing negative behaviours (e.g., aggression, excessive mounting) Pooch's Yard holds the right to ban them immediately.Dogs used as stud dogs (past or present) are not accepted.Pooch’s Yard reserves the right to refuse entry or ban dogs without notice where behaviour, health, or safety is a concern.Pooch's Yard under the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 cannot care for dogs including but not limited to the American Pit-bull or the American XL bully.
6. Property Damage.
Owners are liable for any damage caused by their dog to Pooch’s Yard property.Minor wear and tear to toys is expected and not chargeable.
7. Media & Marketing.
Pooch’s Yard may photograph or video dogs during their stay.Media may be used on social media, advertising, or shared with third parties connected to Pooch’s Yard.By signing the consent form, owners grant permission for this use.All images, Videos and content is owned by Pooch's Yard.
8. Cancellations & Payments.
Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations are charged in full, unless a member of a VIP package.No-shows will be charged in full.Late collections:After 7:00pm – £10 fee.After 7:10pm – an additional £5 for every 5 minutes (rounded up).Time of collection will be recorded by staff and visible via CCTV.
9. Liability.
Pooch’s Yard will take all reasonable steps to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every dog.Owners remain responsible for their dog’s behaviour and health at all times.Attendance is at the owner’s own risk and they must understand that all though every care is taken, mistakes, injuries, illness, and accidents can take place.
10. Agreement.
By booking services with Pooch’s Yard – Doggy Day Care LTD and/or signing the consent form, the owner acknowledges and accepts these Terms & Conditions.Thank you for taking the time to read our Terms & Conditions.
