What truly sets Nadine apart is the way she treats every dog as if they were her own. With a big heart and boundless affection, she’s become known as “Auntie DeeDee” to the dogs, a nickname she proudly embraces. Her passion shines through in everything she does, whether it’s hands-on care, playful cuddles, or finding thoughtful ways to make every dog’s experience special.
Outside of her work, Nadine is happiest when she’s surrounded by family, her sons Albert & Wilfred, her husband Kyle, and their bustling household of thirteen dogs. Together, they fill their home with love, laughter, and plenty of country music, a shared passion that sets the soundtrack to their days. When she does get time to herself, Nadine enjoys dancing (though she insists not very well), diving into crime thrillers, and heading out for a swim.With her sunny personality and love for life’s small joys, it’s no surprise her favourite colour is the cheerful shade of mustard yellow. Still, even Nadine has her dislikes thunderstorms unsettle her, and nothing makes her shudder quite like the sound of clicking joints!At her core, Nadine is warm, creative, and endlessly devoted to her family, to the dogs at Pooch’s Yard, and to making every day brighter for those around her.
